News Director Steve Rinke has been an award winning Arkansas journalist for nearly thirty years. Steve began his career at KLYR Radio in his hometown of Clarksville where he won numerous Associated Press awards for "Best Local News Coverage". He is also a two-time winner of the coveted "Mark Twain Award" for journalism excellence. Over the years, he has been very active in local government and economic development efforts. Steve joined the Fort Smith Radio Group in 2004. In addition to his news reporting duties, he is also the play-by-play voice of the Southside Rebels.

 

 

             

Karen Pharis brings you interviews with Arklahoma's most prominent people. She has been a fixture on the local airwaves for a number of years, starting out as a reporter at KFSM TV in the 1970's. Following her stint at Channel 5, she was news director at KPOM-TV, and then moved into media ownership with her husband Bill. When Pharis Broadcasting put FOX 46 on the air, Karen served as host of "Fox 46 Good Day" for a number of years. In addition to her on-air and management duties, Karen is the mother of three, and is active in local and community events.
